REDUCING SUPPLY CAUSES SOME MARKETS TO TIGHTEN...

The supply of available office space for lease on the Coffs Coast continues to reduce. 

The latest big take up is some 680m2 of new space at  28 Gordon Street, leased thanks to the Commonwealth Government's decentralisation of 50 Australian Maritime Safety Authority Staff, relocating from Canberra to new regional headquarters in Coffs Harbour.

The Deputy Prime Minister commented that there weren't many boats or ships in Canberra and that the staff were better placed closer to the action.

Congratulations Coffs Harbour for being selected as the location of choice.

Another market to tighten is vacant industrial land.

Where's it all gone?

We have the last vacant lot in Coffs Harbour for sale at 7 Forge Drive so click here for details. 

Some 13 blocks of industrial land at Macksville has just been withdrawn from sale as the vendor will develop a heavy vehicle complex for its own use.

That leaves the 'Mill Industrial Estate' at Woolgoolga as the only supply of land in the foreseeable future so click here for details as completion is due late January. 

Once the 11 lots at The Mill have sold, we'll be needing a new subdivision to satisfy the forecast growth.

The Coffs Coast is an unstoppable growth centre.

The Motorway bypass of Coffs Harbour is proposed to commence once the Woolgoolga to Ballina section is completed in a few years' time. 

The road construction contractors and their subies will be in need of substantial land, with B-double access, for their plant and equipment.

If you do your research, you'll see that not all industrial areas are approved for B-doubles, take the older part of Toormina for example.

So where's the land going to come from?
